I chose to cover Las Vegas as the first stop because it’s without a doubt the entertainment capital in the United States. No other city offers the mix of nightlife, restaurants and shopping like Vegas. It’s also the #1 tourist destination bringing in some $40 million travelers per year ranking above New York, Miami and Washington, DC. The agenda was to focus on nightlife and work with the hospitality companies (Hakkasan Group, SBE, etc.) and VIP Hosts in Las Vegas to accomplish this.
The trip would span six days covering several pool parties and nightlife events throughout the week. In total there were roughly 55 events at the top casino’s in the city with celebrity hosts and DJs like Calvin Harris, Lil’ Wayne, Steve Aoki, Usher, Rick Ross, The Chainsmokers, Tiësto, Future, Marshmello and DJ Khaled to name a few!
Best way to ruin a Las Vegas trip is poor planning.
With the number of events this holiday weekend, it was impossible to cover everything so I decided to attend a pool party and nightlife event each day. Arrive at pool parties early, leave by 3pm or so, rest, eat dinner and then head out to nightlife parties at around 11pm. This can be challenging because you’re always on the go but it’s possible to get everything done and get good content if you stay to a tight schedule. Setting a daily spending budget is also important because it’s extremely easy to spend, spend, spend in Vegas on food, shopping and entertainment! At the same time, it’s one of the things I love about Vegas. The city works meticulously to make sure you’re always “experiencing” 24/7!
